Instants! (previews!)

On Tuesday, I had space booked in the studio for a shoot with the lovely Felicity Allman and MUA Millie Rose. I haven't indulged much in the Uni's studio space, so it was high time to squeeze some practise in! I loved working with them both so much. It's great when the whole team is passionate about the concept, because you all pull out the stops you can to make it amazing. So yes this photograph on the left is a preview of what is to come! I hope you like them as much as I do!

As well as photographing Felicity, I felt a need for a guy to be in my portfolio, as my portfolio has been lacking in the not-so-fairer sex, haha! Luke dowsed me in a paddling pool full of paint the other week,so I don't think he could refuse my request to photograph him. When he walked into the studio, my set was pretty much a desecration of black balloons which I suppose is not the image of organisation one enivsages. He put up with my nonsense and helped me tidy up after, which was very kind (and patient) of him! So thankyou, Luke!

I have another shoot on Sunday, I hope the weather holds out as it's set to be a good one! Fingers crossed!

Nicola- Olympus Trip

These are the Photographs I took of Nicola on my Olympus Trip. I pretty much love this camera with all my heart. I really do want to show you all more of my digital photographs of Nicola, but I am trying to get them published! All in due time I hope! I hope you like these though!
At the moment I am dying to travel. I am going to Holland in a matter of weeks and staying with a friend which will be a much needed break.
Before now, I have barely travelled because of my M.E and because I have had no reason to. However, I am controlling my illness much better, and there are people dotted all over the place who would like to work with me! It is really flattering.
I wish I could travel to America or even up north to the beautiful hilly landscapes of Yorkshire. I am also keen to work in London. The problem is the expenses, and if I begin to travel a lot, when and where will I feel settled? I would have to become a snail and carry my home on my back!
It's a scary but exciting thought all at the same time. The fact that I am now ready to travel is a major leap from where I was this time last year, barely being able to crawl out of bed. I think I need to take more time to savour that acheivement.

Instants

I absolutely love it when I have my fuji instax with me, and the most strangest of occurances happen. These are my Uni friends around Luke's house helping him out with a shoot in a paddling pool full of paint (that includes myself, and I believe I have turned partially amphibious from the experience!), and after taking instants of them, I asked them to write their own captions. I really love these, and I think I want to make these part of a passive, personal project that I can look back on when I am too old and withered to press a shutter button anymore. Enjoy!
All these photographs are watermarked, please do not re-publish these without my consent, (unless you are either Charlotte, Luke or Simon' Photosynthesis' Bell, then go ahead!)

I think this is probably my favourite selfie to date. I love this dress so much, which Dave and Joline at Retreat gave to me as a gift. I practically squealed with joy and gave them hugs, they are sooo lovely! I plan to print and frame photos I have taken of their clothing as a thankyou gift. I hope to photograph this dress more when the time is right!

I have been meaning to blog more, I promise I have. I have quite a few shoots and collaborations to share with you, but Uni has had to come first. Deadline is 7 days away, so after the next 7 days of tearing my hair out, I will happily blog away!

My website is also going under an update session, so if you have been checking over there, my apologies for the white abyss! It is all screened right now!
